Metal Working and Jewelry for Pre-teens

Middle-schoolers will focus on traditional metalworking skills as well as experience the newest ways of working with metal in this camp. You will learn to cut, pierce, form, file, join, and finish metals on your way to finishing several projects, including jewelry, in various metals.

You’ll work with torches and saws and files, all with an eye on safety. Creativity will be encouraged as you develop your own designs. The instructor will guide your creative efforts in addition to class demonstrations. At the end of the week you’ll display your finished pieces for family and friends. Please Note: Fine motor skills are required.
